Dining Room Server - Senior Living Community

About the Role

Provide high-quality meal service and create a gracious environment for residents. Responsibilities include accurate communication, order taking, and ensuring proper food presentation while maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Take and relay resident orders to kitchen staff accurately
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas
• Ensure food is served at appropriate temperatures and presented properly
• Assist with special functions and oversee bistro areas
• Learn and accommodate residents' dining preferences
• Participate in team trainings, meetings, and quality assurance activities
• Follow health, safety, and infection control regulations (ADA, OSHA, health department)
• Be present during all meal services and maintain professionalism

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrate core values: love, kindness, honesty, and respect
• Prior experience in healthcare dining or restaurants preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Knowledge of ADA, infection control, OSHA, and health department regulations
