Dining Room Server - Senior Living Community

About the Role

Provide high-quality meal service in a gracious environment, ensuring accurate communication of orders, maintaining cleanliness and hygiene, and delivering exceptional customer care to residents.

Responsibilities

• Serve hot and cold foods appropriately
• Assist with special functions
• Oversee bistro areas and ensure proper food presentation
• Maintain a sanitary dining space by sanitizing tables and chairs, resetting tables, and cleaning floors after each meal
• Be present during full meal service
• Learn residents' dietary preferences
• Know daily specials and serve food at proper temperatures
• Participate in quality assurance activities and required trainings and meetings

Qualifications & Skills

• Demonstrate core values: love, kindness, honesty, goodness, fairness, respect
• Previous experience in healthcare dietary services or restaurants preferred but not required
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English
• Knowledge of ADA, health, infection control, OSHA, and regulatory standards
