About the role

The Digital Product Associate Senior will play a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that drive product strategy, roadmap decisions, and business outcomes. This individual will partner closely with Product Managers, business stakeholders, data engineers, and technology teams to analyze complex datasets, identify opportunities for product enhancements, measure product performance, and inform strategic decision-making. The ideal candidate combines strong analytical and technical skills with a solid understanding of product management principles. They are naturally curious, highly data-driven, and capable of translating business questions into meaningful analyses that influence product direction and customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large and complex datasets to identify trends, patterns, customer behaviors, and opportunities for product improvements.
  • Develop actionable recommendations that influence product strategy, roadmap prioritization, and feature enhancements.
  • Define, measure, and monitor key product performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics.
  • Perform root cause analysis to investigate business issues, operational challenges, and product performance concerns.
  • Partner with Product Managers to evaluate market opportunities, customer needs, and business priorities using quantitative and qualitative data.
  • Support product discovery activities through data analysis, experimentation, and hypothesis validation.
  • Design and develop data models, dashboards, reports, and visualizations that provide self-service insights for stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, product analytics, or a related field
  • Experience supporting product management, product strategy, or product development initiatives
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data into strategic business recommendations
  • Advanced proficiency in one or more of the following: SQL, Python, R, Alteryx, Tableau, Power BI or equivalent analytics and visualization platforms
  • Strong experience with data visualization, dashboard development, and reporting
  • Experience analyzing large datasets from multiple sources
  • Familiarity with data modeling, data warehousing, and data governance concepts

Pay

Southern California Base Salary Range: $111,920-$179,072. In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital’s annual profitability bonus.
