Digital Marketing Manager
About the role
The historic Count Basie Center for the Arts, located in downtown Red Bank, New Jersey, is seeking a Digital Marketing Manager to join its Marketing Department.
Responsibilities
- Manage member and patron mailing lists
- Segment and disseminate organizational messaging, including event announcements, member presales, and other communications
- Track email open rates and manage the marketing database
- Create organic and paid social media messaging across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Meta, Google Ads, and emerging platforms
- Track paid social efforts and analyze organic trends, including best post types and conversions
- Manage digital marketing signage across the Count Basie Center campus
- Perform other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in marketing, media, or related field; majors such as Music Industry or Arts Administration will be considered
- 2+ years of relevant work experience
- Experience with popular email marketing platforms (Mailchimp is a major plus)
- Experience with Facebook Business Manager and Google Ads
- Ability to work remotely
- Excellent writing skills
- Portfolio of organic and paid social media content, with a focus on self-created video
- Computer proficiency in both Mac and Windows environments
- Working knowledge of popular culture, past and present
- Willingness to work some nights and weekends (approximately 10%)
- Understanding of the entertainment, education, or nonprofit sectors is helpful but not required
- Strong work ethic and ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
