Responsibilities

  • Aid in the development and execution of marketing programs across various social media platforms.
  • Analyze engagement and sales data to implement strategies for growth on existing and new platforms.
  • Research customer engagement trends and best practices for social media marketing.
  • Collaborate with Ad Sales, Premium Seating, Marketing, and Sales departments to enhance revenue and engagement.
  • Create and maintain content calendars for upcoming events, venue projects, and community engagement.
  • Innovate the digital marketing strategy for the Iowa Events Center, including social media, podcasts, database marketing, video, and website presence.
  • Support event day activities by providing real-time content across multiple social media platforms.
  • Develop and produce content for social media channels, such as video, photography, graphics, and text.
  • Maintain adherence to facility branding guidelines in all communications and graphics.
  • Participate in meetings and brainstorming sessions for upcoming events and projects.
  • Assist the Database Marketing Coordinator with email and text marketing initiatives.
  • Handle customer service inquiries through various platforms.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university with coursework in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Communications, Analytics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience in digital marketing, particularly with concert venues or sports arenas, is preferred.
  • Knowledge of marketing and advertising/sponsorship program development.
  • Strong understanding of social media, web-based advertising, CRM, and website maintenance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and other relevant software.
  • Demonstrated ability to generate creative and original promotional ideas.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexible scheduling ability to accommodate early mornings, evenings, weekends, holidays, and extended workdays.
