Role overview

This is an entry-level Digital Marketing Coordinator role based in Chicago, IL (Illinois Medical District). The position supports paid advertising execution, daily performance monitoring, and creative testing across paid search and paid social channels. The role is primarily onsite Monday–Thursday with remote flexibility on Fridays (hybrid).

What You’ll Do

  • Support setup, QA, and launch of digital ad campaigns across Google Ads (Search, Shopping, PMAX), Bing, Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and other paid channels
  • Ensure accurate tracking links, consistent naming conventions, and correct audience targeting across platforms
  • Run daily budget pacing checks and monitor spend to hit monthly efficiency and ROI targets
  • Pull daily/weekly performance reports from ad platforms and analytics tools (e.g., Google Ads, Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics); synthesize data into short, actionable summaries
  • Analyze creative asset performance (CTR, view rate, conversion rate) and coordinate with creative/technical teams to iterate on assets and product inventory feeds
  • Assist with A/B and lift studies, creative tests, and copy experiments to improve media efficiency
  • Collaborate with Brand, Creative, eCommerce, and Merchandising teams to align paid campaigns with inventory and promotion priorities
  • Maintain organized campaign documentation and contribute to process improvements

Minimum qualifications

  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, lookup functions, basic data visualization)
  • Strong attention to detail and quality assurance mindset
  • Comfortable working with performance data and translating results into clear next steps
  • Self-starter who can prioritize daily tasks, adapt in a fast-paced environment, and take ownership of assignments
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred / nice-to-have

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Analytics, Economics, Finance, or related field, OR equivalent internship/project experience
  • Internships or project work focused on digital marketing, analytics, or advertising
  • Familiarity or interest in native ad managers (Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager) and web analytics; platform certifications are a plus
  • Curiosity about consumer behavior, testing frameworks, and algorithm-driven performance shifts
