Design Build Project Quality Manager

About the role

HNTB is seeking a Quality Manager to lead the development and implementation of quality management plans tailored to Design-Build delivery. This role requires a strong background in quality management, particularly in large-scale capital projects and alternative delivery projects.

Responsibilities

• Develops and manages the implementation of the program/project quality management plan in accordance with client, owner, and FTA requirements.
• Reviews and approves subconsultant quality plans.
• Maintains adherence to the project quality plan and reports on compliance internally and to the client.
• Works with clients, project, office, Design-Build leadership, and quality leadership to develop and implement quality management technologies and processes.
• Establishes and implements quality performance metrics.
• Reports on and provides recommendations to leadership regarding the program/project quality management plan and potential improvements to the HNTB QMS.
• Manages and implements a quality audit program.
• Manages a corrective action system to identify and implement opportunities for improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in quality management/engineering, Civil Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• 12+ years of demonstrated experience managing quality programs, including experience auditing programs/projects in the planning, design, and/or construction phases.
• Experience implementing quality management plans in compliance with ISO 9001 and/or FTA Quality Management System requirements.

Pay

The approximate pay range for New York is $180,596.86 - $360,607.36. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be dependent on factors, including but not limited to, the individual’s qualifications, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as physical work location within the state.
