Deputy Special Projects Director for Recruitment

Key Responsibilities

  • Regularly identify recruitment opportunities at events and the planning and execution of staffing those events
  • Stand up recruitment events like block parties, cookouts, tailgates, and campus events to recruit applicants
  • Draft recruitment language for texting scripts and for other forms of recruitment
  • Oversee junior level staff who will assist with recruitment efforts
  • Work interdepartmentally to identify recruitment opportunities through digital or paid media opportunities
  • Be primarily responsible for meeting quantitative goals set by the Special Projects Director

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 2-5 years of professional experience in a field or organizing role on political campaigns
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
  • Proficiency in common productivity and data tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, or similar)
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Able to manage multiple priorities and adapt quickly in a dynamic environment
  • Self-starter mentality with a willingness to take initiative
  • Experience with relational organizing programs is preferred, but not required
