Responsibilities
- Coordinate client intake, scheduling and management for the Spring 2025 Nutrition Assessment and Education Program.
- Maintain counseling spaces, materials and handouts.
- Create advertisements and communicate with potential clients about eligibility and scheduling.
- Cooking activities and group wellness challenges.
- Support additional program activities.
- Ensure all client recommendations are approved by the Faculty Supervisor.
- See clients directly.
Requirements
Required Qualifications:
- Strong comprehension of nutrition principles and counseling techniques.
- Thoughtful giving and receiving of supervisor and peer feedback.
- Strong interpersonal communication skills to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of students and staff.
- Experience using a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Youtube and Instagram.
- Organizational and time management skills.
- Comfort designing and producing client and promotional materials.
Preferred Qualifications
- Public speaking.
- Participation in or connection to other campus organizations and communities.
- Exemplary leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in a nutrition counseling and education setting is desirable.
