Responsibilities

• Coordinate client intake, scheduling and management for the Spring 2025 Nutrition Assessment and Education Program.
• Maintain counseling spaces, materials and handouts.
• Create advertisements and communicate with potential clients about eligibility and scheduling.
• Cooking activities and group wellness challenges.
• Support additional program activities.
• Ensure all client recommendations are approved by the Faculty Supervisor.
• See clients directly.

Requirements

Required Qualifications:

• Strong comprehension of nutrition principles and counseling techniques.
• Thoughtful giving and receiving of supervisor and peer feedback.
• Strong interpersonal communication skills to work and communicate effectively with a diverse group of students and staff.
• Experience using a variety of social media platforms including Facebook, Youtube and Instagram.
• Organizational and time management skills.
• Comfort designing and producing client and promotional materials.

Preferred Qualifications

• Public speaking.
• Participation in or connection to other campus organizations and communities.
• Exemplary leadership and communication skills.
• Experience in a nutrition counseling and education setting is desirable.
