Department Manager

About the role

Managers lead shifts every week, making sure customers get a fast, accurate, friendly experience every visit. Some managers also lead Departments with responsibilities including:

Responsibilities

• Managing assigned Systems such as Training, Food Safety, and Inventory Management
• Setting goals, delegating tasks, following up, and reporting results
• Ensuring Crew and Managers deliver a great customer experience
• Ensuring sales promotions are executed well and service staff are trained in procedures
• Organizing the Front Counter, McCafé, and Drive-Thru areas for optimal service
• Ensuring the restaurant delivers high-quality food quickly and safely
• Controlling food costs and training kitchen staff in production procedures
• Hiring qualified crew, training them well, and scheduling them to meet sales and profit goals
• Ensuring Crew get off to a good start and are recognized and motivated throughout their employment

Requirements

• Previous managerial experience preferred, ideally within a restaurant, retail, or hospitality environment
• Positive team players with flexible schedules
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Must be 18 years or older
