Dental Assisting Adjunct Faculty (Fall 2026)

Responsibilities
- Deliver Instruction
- Conduct assigned classes and/or labs
- Prepare lessons
- Provide course syllabus (including grading standards, attendance policies, classroom behavioral expectations, course outline, and contact information)
- Verify student enrollment and submit grade sheets
- If a Lab Is Involved:
- Prepare labs
- Enforce lab safety procedures
- Evaluate Student Progress
- Keep accurate records of student performance
- Provide students with timely feedback
- Provide Student Assistance
- Maintain office hours and voice-mail/e-mail communication
- Refer students to student support services
- Accommodate special needs students
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or completion of bachelor's degree within three years of hire
- Certified Dental Assistant (Desired)
- Bachelor's degree
- 2+ years of dental assisting experience

- Knowledge of instructional methods and techniques
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, colleagues, and administration
- Ability to maintain accurate records and report student progress
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities

Pay
This is a Part-Time Adjunct Faculty position with the following pay rates per contact hour: Less than MA: $1,069 MA or Above: $1,109. The offer will be based on education and experience, in alignment with the College’s compensation philosophy and the current Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA), if applicable.
Schedule
Work Schedule TBD. Courses are taught in a classroom setting and may include a lab component.
