Part-time adjunct position for the Fall 2026 semester.
About the role
NHTI Concord's Community College is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to teach Dental Hygiene courses. This role focuses on delivering instruction that provides students with essential knowledge in dental hygiene, emphasizing practical applications and real-world relevance.
Responsibilities
- Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
- Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
- Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
- Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines.
Requirements
- Current dental hygiene licensure in NH.
- DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) CDA certification preferred.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in Dental Hygiene practice.
- Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA, or RI.
Qualifications
- Possession of an earned Master’s degree in the subject/content area, or a Master’s degree in Education with twelve (12) graduate credits in the subject/content area or closely related to the teaching assignment, and a Bachelor’s degree in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment, combined with a minimum of two years of related teaching and/or professional work experience is preferred.
- Individuals with a Bachelor’s degree in the subject/content area or closely related field to the teaching assignment, or a Bachelor’s degree in Education and an Associate’s degree in the subject/content area closely related to the teaching assignment, combined with three (3) years of related teaching or professional work experience, may also be considered.
- Individuals must possess required licenses or certifications as required within the field.
Pay
$850 - $1000 per credit, based on adjunct faculty rank (determined by education and experience).
