Dental Assistant - Adjunct Faculty

Class Description

The School of Continuing Education at CCBC seeks part-time adjunct instructors to teach the Dental Assisting Program. Classes are held at two campuses: Dundalk and Randallstown.

Minimum Requirements

• Must be certified and/or licensed in Dental Assisting
• Good communication skills
• A knowledge and understanding of the Health and Human Services programs and industry standards
• Computer literate with proficient skills in Microsoft applications
• Creative and energetic
• Ability to problem solve wisely with minimal input from a supervisor

Essential Duties

• Provide didactic and clinical instruction in Dental Assisting, including classroom, laboratory, and clinical supervision assignments
• Maintain certification in Dental Assisting
• Work collaboratively to achieve departmental, divisional or institutional initiatives
• Maintain scheduled availability to students
• Monitor student progress in labs
• Follow established rules of the college
