Fall 2026 - Adjunct Faculty - Dental Assisting

Position Overview

NHTI is seeking a qualified adjunct faculty member to work in the Dental Assisting Program. The assignment is for clinical and lab hands-on learning to provide students with essential knowledge of clinical application of theory focusing on practical applications and real-world relevance.

Position Responsibilities

• Course Delivery: Provide instruction using curricula aligned with department and program standards.
• Student Engagement: Foster active learning through discussions, assignments, and assessments.
• Assessment & Feedback: Evaluate student performance, provide feedback, and maintain accurate records of student progress.
• Professional Development: Stay current in your field and adhere to institutional policies and guidelines. Maintain professional currency in the field and comply with college policies and standards.

Minimum Qualifications

• Education: Bachelors of Science / Arts, Current DANB (Dental Assisting National Board) CDA certification (Certified Dental Assistant). Credentials in expanded dental assisting functions as required in New Hampshire preferred.
• Experience: Recent experience in the application of four-handed dentistry principles.
• Residency: Must reside in NH, VT, ME, MA
