Dental Assistant I, II, or III
Position Summary
A full-time Dental Assistant position is available for our Dental Clinic in Battle Ground, WA. The candidate will assist the dental provider in delivering dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act. Responsibilities include assisting in Restorative, Prosthodontics, Endodontics, Orthodontics, Oral Surgery procedures, and other procedures allowed by the WA Dental Practice Act. Major duties include maintaining proper records for MSDS, spore tests, inventory of dental supplies, assisting in training new Dental Assistants, and organizing schedules to generate checklists for maintenance of dental procedures.
Qualifications and/or Experience
- Valid WA State license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Organizational skills
- Dental record experience
- Familiarity with the utilization of computers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English and interpret common written material about dentistry
- Preferred bilingual in Spanish
Dental Assistant II
- Completed a formal Dental Assistant program at a College, Technical Institute, or equivalent
- Minimum of 6 months of work experience
Dental Assistant III
- Knowledgeable of proper sterilization methods and OSHA regulations including QI
- Able to duplicate and mount radiographs, place temporary restorations, take impressions, pour and trim models, place retraction cord, place matrix bands, perform coronal polish, and give fluoride treatments
- Minimum of 2 years working experience
