Position Summary
An on-call Dental Assistant position is available at our Federal Way Dental Clinic. The primary responsibilities include assisting the dental provider in delivering various dental procedures, maintaining proper records, managing supplies, and training new Dental Assistants.
Qualifications and/or Experience
- Valid WA State license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Organizational skills
- Dental record experience
- Familiarity with utilizing computers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
- Preferred bilingual in English/Spanish
- As a Dental Assistant II, completion of a formal Dental Assistant program and 6 months of work experience required
- As a Dental Assistant III, knowledge of proper sterilization methods, OSHA regulations, including Quality Improvement (QI), and 2 years of experience required
