Dental Assistant I, II, or III
Position Summary
A full-time Dental Assistant position is available for our Lacey Dental Clinic and Olympia Dental Clinic. Responsibilities include assisting the dental provider in delivering dental procedures allowed by the WA State Dental Practice Act, maintaining proper records for MSDS, spore tests, and dental supply inventory, assisting in training new Dental Assistants, and generating checklists for maintenance of dental procedures.
Qualifications and/or Experience
- Valid WA State license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Organizational skills
- Dental record experience
- Familiarity with utilizing computers
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to communicate, read, and write in English
- Ability to interpret common written material about dentistry
- Preferred bilingual in English/Spanish
- Preferred previous ortho experience
Dental Assistant I, II, or III
- Dental Assistant I: No formal training required, 18+ months of work experience in a Dental Assistant position
- Dental Assistant II: Formal Dental Assistant program completion, 6+ months of work experience
- Dental Assistant III: Knowledgeable of sterilization methods and OSHA regulations, 2+ years of experience in a Dental Assistant position
