Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and handle ingredients.
• Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk-in cooler.
• Prepare product and receive/process telephone orders.
• Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
• Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
• Deliver pizzas and other products to customers within a designated delivery area.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers.
• Navigate adverse terrain, including multi-story buildings and private homes, while carrying product.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the designated delivery area.
• Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
• Strong communication skills for processing orders over the phone and in person.
• Basic math skills for making correct monetary change and performing calculations.
• Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Skills

• Verbal, writing, and telephone skills for order processing.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.
• Eye-hand coordination for tasks such as shaping pizza dough and using a pizza peel.
• Ability to work under varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Capability to handle physical tasks, including standing for extended periods, lifting up to 50 pounds, and navigating stairs.
• Ability to work in cramped quarters and handle hot surfaces/tools (up to 500 degrees or higher).

Work Conditions

Team members may be exposed to:

• Varying and adverse weather conditions when performing outside tasks or deliveries.
• In-store temperatures ranging from 36 degrees in the cooler to 90 degrees or above in some work areas.
• Fumes from food odors and exposure to cornmeal dust.
• Sharp edges, moving mechanical parts, and hot surfaces.

Physical requirements include:

• Standing for most tasks, with walking surfaces including ceramic tile and linoleum.
• Walking short distances and durations, including between the store and delivery vehicle.
• Sitting for paperwork completion at a desk or table.
• Lifting and carrying cases of ingredients/supplies (up to 50 pounds), trays of pizza dough (12 pounds per tray), and pizzas/beverages during delivery.
• Pushing/pulling trays on dollies (requiring up to 7.5 pounds of force).
• Climbing stairs or ladders for tasks such as changing prices, washing walls, or performing maintenance.
• Stooping, bending, crouching, and squatting for tasks like stocking shelves and cleaning.
• Reaching continuously in various directions (up, down, forward) for tasks like obtaining ingredients or cleaning.
• Frequent and forceful use of hands for tasks like shaping dough, using a pizza peel, and assembling pizza boxes.
