Responsibilities

• Operate all store equipment and handle ingredients, including stocking, preparation, and inventory.
• Receive and process telephone orders, both over the phone and in person.
• Clean equipment and facility on a daily basis.
• Deliver pizzas and other products to customers within a designated area, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
• Deliver flyers and door hangers to customers.
• Perform tasks requiring physical coordination, such as shaping pizza dough, assembling boxes, and using tools like pizza cutters and peels.
• Handle monetary transactions, including making correct change.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
• Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
• Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
• Ability to work in varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions.
• Strong communication skills, including verbal, writing, and telephone abilities.
• Basic math skills for handling monetary transactions and inventory.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift (up to 50 pounds), carry, push, climb, stoop, bend, reach, and perform repetitive hand tasks.
• Motor coordination for tasks such as entering orders on a computer or touch screen, and handling pizza preparation tools.

Work Conditions

• Exposure to varying temperatures, including in-store ranges from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas, and outdoor weather conditions.
• Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, and cramped quarters like walk-in coolers.
• Handling hot surfaces and tools, such as ovens up to 500°F or higher.
• Working around sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.
• Tasks requiring near, mid-range, and far vision, as well as depth perception and night vision for driving.
• Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and handle repetitive tasks.
