Responsibilities
- Operate store equipment and prepare product.
- Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage and work areas.
- Receive and process telephone orders.
- Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.
- Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.
- Deliver pizzas and beverages to customers within a designated area, including navigating multi-story buildings and adverse terrain.
- Deliver flyers and door hangers.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
- Access to an insured vehicle for deliveries.
- Navigational skills to read maps and locate addresses within the delivery area.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use a calculator).
- Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
- Motor coordination for rapid and precise movements, including using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Skills
- Ability to comprehend and give correct written and verbal instructions.
- Communication skills for interacting with customers and co-workers.
- Hand-eye coordination for tasks such as shaping pizza dough, using a pizza peel, and assembling pizza boxes.
- Ability to make correct monetary change.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and navigate stairs or ladders.
Work Conditions
- Exposure to varying and sometimes adverse weather conditions when delivering or performing outside tasks.
- In-store temperatures range from 36°F in coolers to 90°F or higher in work areas, with sudden temperature changes.
- Exposure to food odors, cornmeal dust, cramped quarters, hot surfaces (up to 500°F), sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts.
- Tasks require standing, walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, reaching, and crouching.
- Frequent use of hands for tasks such as shaping dough, using tools, and handling orders.
- Ability to work under stress, meet quality control standards, and perform repetitive tasks.
