About the role

We are a Wisconsin grocer dedicated to serving communities and providing exceptional service and value. We operate over 40 full-service supermarkets across Wisconsin. As a Deli Hot Bar Cook at Festival Foods, you'll play a key part in enhancing guest experiences with delicious meal options.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional guest service
• Offer assistance to guests
• Service excellence: fulfill guest orders and special requests efficiently
• Maintain high-quality conditions at the hot bar
• Collect food temperatures and maintain hot food logs
• Organize, stock, clean, and label the hot bar efficiently
• Address and resolve guest concerns using the boomerang principle
• Support the team with other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Experience in fast food, deli, or restaurant environments
• Good oral and written communication skills
• Understanding of safety requirements and company policies
• Knowledge of perishable food and ability to work at a fast pace
• Familiarity with various kitchen equipment

• Willingness to learn and grow
• Ability to interact tactfully with guests and personnel
• Physical demands: ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bend, kneel, stand for long periods

Pay

Hourly associates are paid weekly, with additional premiums on Sundays and select holidays. Full-time store associates receive time and a half on Sundays and select holidays.

Schedule

This is a part-time or full-time position available weekdays, weekends, and holidays based on business needs.
