Deduction Analyst

Job Description

Review customer deductions and categorize to appropriate codes.

Perform the audit of customer claims, ensuring the backup and authorization presented are acceptable and within departmental guidelines and Pactiv policy.

Understand customer contracts and highlight if contract not in accordance with the one face policy.

Proactively communicate information and provide resources to internal and external customers to resolve deductions in a timely manner.

Identify all invalid customer claims, commence the recovery process and take preventative measures to eliminate future deductions.

Report out exceptions and drive compliance.

Identify opportunity to drive efficiencies.

Verifies data accuracy ensuring that transactions are properly supported and in accordance with internal policies and SOX initiatives.

Research, plan and assist in the implementation of changes.

Assist in special projects as assigned.

Qualifications

• AS degree with an emphasis in finance or accounting or High School diploma with at least 2 years finance or customer service experience.
• Excellent knowledge of systems (SAP, Excel, Word), display strong team skills, excellent follow-up, telephone and verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task, problem solve and prioritize to meet deadlines.
