About the role
Camping World seeks a Sales Manager with a proven track record of driving sales and motivating teams. The ideal candidate will lead a dynamic sales team, manage budgets, maintain inventory, and foster a positive customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor a high-performance sales team
- Develop innovative sales strategies through events, community activities, and local marketing
- Plan and manage budgets, implementing cost control techniques
- Maintain accurate inventory levels and merchandise presentation
- Obtain and analyze customer feedback to ensure high service standards
- Recruit, select, and train sales staff for growth and advancement
- Demonstrate commitment to company initiatives, goals, and policies
- Show strong leadership qualities in a no-pressure, high-integrity approach
- Generate ideas to exceed sales targets and share best practices
- Stay informed about market trends and industry developments
- Communicate effectively with staff, customers, co-workers, and management
Requirements
- A college degree is preferred but relevant work experience is considered
- Proven dealership sales experience and management of a revenue-generating team
- Comprehensive knowledge of sales management, merchandising, inventory, shrinkage control, and consumer behavior
- Strong organizational skills and ability to focus in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent interpersonal, planning, and communication skills
- Strong computer skills, especially with customer data and inventory systems
- Valid driver's license required
- Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. and/or move up to 50 lbs. with assistive devices
- Periods of standing, stooping, crawling, and bending may be required

Pay
