What You Will Do
- Build high-level relationships throughout the entire dealership.
- Demonstrate a clear comprehensive understanding of dealer partners' goals, pain points, markets, and competitors, as well as automotive business trends.
- Showcase high levels of organization, task and detail orientation, articulation, flexibility, self-motivation, and ability to work under pressure.
- Provide the highest level of unwavering customer service through coaching, training, and consultation.
- Drive success for dealer partners with a sense of urgency without compromising the strategic approach.
- Leverage practical experience, strong working knowledge of automotive dealership operations, and strong working knowledge of the company's software platform functionality.
- Execute launch planning, manage product implementation, and deliver initial and ongoing training to meet the needs of dealers in their area.
- Work as the first point of contact for handling dealerships' issues and follow up on escalated cases.
- Bring best practice knowledge of the product into the client organization to support the company's value proposition to dealerships and teammates.
- Ensure that product changes, new features, and releases are communicated and implemented in a timely manner to accounts.
- Manage day-to-day dealer relationship and champion the adoption and ongoing use of the company product in dealerships.
- Work as part of a larger team reporting to a Director of Dealer Relations, covering a geographical area and working as part of a larger team.
- Retain 20+ accounts.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3-5 years professional experience working in sales, marketing, or customer service in a luxury automotive retail environment.
- Significant experience working with CRM tools and being comfortable with technology.
- Quick thinking and handling ambiguity.
- Effective communication both orally and in writing, and strong business and financial acumen.
- Ability to establish rapport and develop meaningful relationships with clients.
- Proactive solicitation of feedback, asking clarifying questions, and resolving issues in a non-confrontational way.
- Ability to perform as part of a larger team and work independently to schedule and prioritize work.
- Regular assessment of own performance and adaptation of work to achieve better results.
Qualifications
- Belief in the company's mission and a vested interest in the company's success.
- 80%-100% travel within the region and nationally as needed.
Benefits
- A competitive base salary range of $95,000 to $100,000, with final salary based on location and qualifications.
- Eligibility for an annual incentive plan.
- Eligibility for additional S&P Global benefits.
