DC Assistant Supervisor - Shipping

Responsibilities

• Avoids all aspects of the shipping/loading department.
• Maintain compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures.
• Work with operations and DC managers to maintain payroll figures, budgeting, productivity, etc.
• Perform scheduled evaluations on team members.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to team members.
• Establish annual goals and plans for the department.
• Ensure effective recruiting, hiring, and training practices.
• Plan and prepare annual capital expenditure listings for budgeting.
• Approve expenditures for the department.
• Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• College degree or logistics certification
• 2+ years previous supervisory experience
• Completion of O'Reilly supervisor training program
• Fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
• Advanced computer skills

Pay

Pay Range $53,926.00 - $79,944.00. The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location. Additional compensation includes annual, quarterly performance, or premiums may be paid in amounts ranging per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.
