DC Supervisor - Shipping

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee all aspects of the shipping/loading department.
• Aid in ensuring compliance with company operations, policies, and procedures.
• Collaborate with operations and DC managers to manage payroll, budgeting, productivity, etc.
• Conduct scheduled evaluations on team members.
• Provide leadership, training, and guidance to maintain productivity and morale.
• Create and implement annual goals and plans with managers.
• Work with human resources supervisor and operations manager for effective recruiting, hiring, and training.
• Assist operations and DC managers in preparing annual capital expenditure listings for budgeting.
• Coordinate with managers for approval on expenditures.
• Maintain safety standards and identify unsafe practices.

Skills/Education/Experience Required

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
• Excellent leadership abilities with a focus on customer service
• Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
• Basic computer skills
• Desired: College degree or logistics certification, 2+ years previous supervisory experience, advanced computer skills, completion of O'Reilly supervisor training program, fluency in multiple languages (Spanish is highly desired)
