Day Program Support Professional - Full-Time

About the role

We are seeking a Full-Time Day Program Direct Support Professional (DSP) to provide supervision, instruction, and support to adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in structured day and community-based settings.

Responsibilities

• Supervising participants according to individual service plans
• Engaging participants in activities such as fitness, outdoor recreation, domestic skills, and community outings
• Ensuring safety and dignity
• Maintaining staff-to-participant ratios
• Transporting individuals safely
• Assisting with hygiene and behavioral management

Qualifications and Skills

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 21+ years old
• Valid driver’s license with insurable record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to operate electronic documentation systems
• Physical capability to assist participants, including lifting up to 50 lbs
• Experience with behavioral support, working with DD/ID individuals, or in similar settings is preferred
• Enjoy active, hands-on work, community engagement, and supporting skill development in diverse environments
