Full-Time Day Program Position

About the role

The Program Instructor will work with individuals who have a developmental disability to offer a range of services and supports.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized service plans based on assessment results
• Provide direct support to individuals in various settings
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive care
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of a safe and supportive environment
• Document progress and outcomes in accordance with program requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Special Education, Psychology)
• At least 1 year of experience working with individuals who have a developmental disability
• Valid driver’s license and access to reliable transportation
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge of developmental disabilities and related support needs
• Passion for making a positive impact in the community

Skills

• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
• Proficiency in using assistive technology

Schedule

Full-time day shift, 8am - 4pm, Monday to Friday
