The National Institute of Public Finance and Policy (NIPFP) is recruiting for two Research Fellow positions to work on a project for the research study on "Macroeconomic Modelling of Oil Price Shocks on Indian Economy" with NITI AAYOG. The position is initially for six months, renewal subject to performance and fund availability.
About the role
Research Fellows will contribute to the development and analysis of macroeconomic models that assess the impact of oil price shocks on the Indian economy. They will collaborate with a team of economists and policy analysts to produce high-quality research reports and participate in policy dialogues.
Responsibilities

Requirements
- PhD in Economics or a related field
- Experience in macroeconomic modeling and econometrics

Skills
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g., R, Python)
- Good understanding of economic theory and policy
