Data Center Supervisor

About the role

As a Data Center Supervisor, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring productivity, safety, and adherence to company policies and client agreements. You will manage warehouse staff, implement cost-saving measures, and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction while meeting client-specified KPIs and quality system requirements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct staff meetings to review daily/weekly work activities and drive continuous improvement.
• Keep senior management and client representatives informed of critical operational issues.
• Develop and enforce systems and procedures for safe, profitable operations in line with company policies.
• Manage operations to meet productivity and service goals, complying with site operating agreements.
• Implement and report on cost-saving measures while suggesting operational efficiencies.
• Ensure compliance with client KPIs and quality system requirements.
• Apply effective communication and motivational techniques to supervise, counsel, and discipline team members.
• Support Human Resources in hiring, training, professional development, and performance evaluations.
• Train and evaluate warehouse staff, including assigning duties and assessing progress.
• Plan daily work schedules based on work orders, arrival notices, and customer instructions.
• Assess priorities, reorganize warehouse space, and adjust staffing/supplies as needed.
• Delegate supervisory duties to experienced team members acting as leads.
• Maintain high motivation and focus on customer satisfaction among team members.
• Provide growth and development opportunities for team members, including annual performance reviews.
• Support and train team members on adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Assist in physical operations as needed.

Pay

The expected base pay range for this position is $75,000 – $78,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on job-related factors such as relevant experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location.
