Job Responsibilities
The CWS Team Coordinator plans, develops, implements, evaluate and coordinates comprehensive social and Human Services programs for the County Department of Social Services.
Reviews, interprets and clarifies policies and procedures which apply to social service delivery and monitors various written reports, case records, in house procedures, client and public relations in an effort to ensure accuracy, uniformity, expedient and quality services.
Supervises and evaluates the performance and day-to-day activities of line supervisors in the Human Services area and reviews the evaluations completed by line supervisors of their subordinate Human Services workers.
Plans with line supervisors the various work patterns for most effective utilization of staff within the organizational structure of the agency and holds individual and group conferences with staff at all levels.
Mets at stated intervals with supervisory staff of Human Services and Administrative Support Supervisor to solve mutual problems and develop functional in-house procedures.
Consults with appropriate state program representatives regarding programs, needs, policies and changes at the state and local levels.
Covers work between Economic and Human Services areas with the Economic Services Program Coordinator.
Consults and advises County Director on appropriate matters.
Determines training needs and arranges training for Human Services workers.
Prepares request for needed supplies, equipment and travel funds for the county social services annual budget.
Ensures that personal identifying information (PII) is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
Attends County Board and Management staff meetings to share information concerning the Human Services program.
Performs the duties of the County Director as directed in his/her absence.
Performs other related duties as required.
Minimum and Additional Requirements
- A Bachelor's Degree and two (2) years of experience in human services or social service programs.
- A Master's Degree in Social Work, Behavioral Science, or Social Science may substitute for all of requirements.
