Customer Support Specialist

New Hire Training

The new hire training period will focus on a "Solutions" role to support the Industrial Aftermarket Sales. This will involve assisting with customer issues such as returns, payment disputes, credits, debits, and order discrepancies.

Customer Support

• Provide quality service to customers
• Expedite and work to fill back-orders as well as orders placed at lead time
• Respond to inventory inquiries and support inside Sales
• Succeed in interchanging product, process, and managing purchase orders
• Support customers by successfully answering live chats on DOL (Distributor-On-Line)
• Support customers by successfully answering calls in the IAM CR queue
• Submit credit/debit requests and return bearing authorizations (RBA’s)
• Investigate and close payment disputes (PD’s)
• Submit and close WHD’s (warehouse discrepancies)

Internal Customer Support

• Manage and resolve purchase order entry issues
• Work and manage reports
• Manage customer accounts

Education, Experience, Skills And Abilities

• Bachelor’s Degree preferably in business - one to five years in related experience; or five to eight years of related experience or some equivalent combination
• Demonstrated proficiency with the ability to engage and diffuse dissatisfied customers
• Professionally represent the customer when interacting with other departments
• The ability to work independently and as a member of the team
• Comprehensive product knowledge with a firm understanding of where to go to find solutions
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Effective organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task
• Intermediate Excel and Word Skills

Requirements

• The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
• At NTN, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.

Pay

$22 - $26.45 per hour
