About the role

Our busy eyecare practice is looking for a dedicated team member to help patients leave our office looking and seeing their best. This full-time position at our Middleton office offers the stability of a healthcare career with weekends off. No prior experience is required—we provide paid training to the right person with a great attitude, a helpful heart, and a love of learning.

Responsibilities

• Help patients choose glasses that match their personal style, lifestyle needs, and prescription.
• Determine optimal lens types, materials, coatings, and brands based on individual lifestyles (e.g., sports, computer use).
• Educate first-time wearers on proper use and care of glasses.
• Troubleshoot prescription issues and take accurate measurements for all lens styles and prescriptions.
• Check new glasses for fit and make necessary adjustments, including minor repairs.
• Consistently cross-train in technician duties for career growth.
• Educate patients on insurance coverage and maintain a clean, welcoming optical space.
• Handle inventory, ordering, shipping, and receiving.
