About the role
Applied Industrial Technologies is seeking a full-time creative, resourceful customer service representative (CSR) in Missoula, MT. The position involves providing professional and timely support to the sales team and customers, working in a fast-paced team environment.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Account Managers to find products and services, solve customer needs, and build ongoing positive business relationships.
- Handle customer inquiries, quotes, order processing, expediting, and returns.
- Sourcing parts and assisting in generating sales.
- Absorb and deliver orders to customers as needed.
- Assist in the stockroom as needed.
Qualifications
- 1+ year customer service or inside sales experience, preferably in an industrial distribution or parts counter environment.
- Preferred: Hydraulic, bearings, or power transmission knowledge.
- Attention to detail, accuracy, ability to multitask, and a good sense of humor.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including English grammar.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills including Excel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record (MVR).

Pay
Competitive hourly pay with potential for bonuses.
Schedule
Hours are 8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday.
