About the role
Drive sales in a direct selling and/or broker capacity through fact-based selling and form productive customer relationships for medium/large accounts. Candidates residing in the Southeast are strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Sell products directly to retailers, end-users, or distributors within assigned geographic territory, industry, or account.
- Maintain corporate-mandated profit contribution levels through effective management of assigned spending budgets.
- Effectively utilize syndicated data to identify opportunities and provide management with post-analysis results.
- Manage trade spending budget and deliver financial sales responsibility driven by the senior leadership team.
- Evaluate current and competitive product pricing, promotions, and sales strategies for potential business opportunities.
- Collaborate with Customer Inventory Analysts and corporate teams on production forecasting of assigned brands.
- Develop recommendations for displays and other promotional activities to effectively optimize sales growth, using available POS, syndicated, and consumer insights data.
- Guide the retail broker team in determining monthly objectives and assist directly in the overall management of the broker team.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of field sales experience.
- A Bachelor's degree in business, finance, economics, or marketing.
- Demonstrated experience in understanding trends and making recommendations.
- Demonstrated experience with Nielsen, Retail Link, and Shiloh.
- Understanding of the customers' co-managed replenishment system.
- Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Thorough understanding of retail/grocery.
- Thorough understanding of B&G's portfolio of brands.
- Good understanding of syndicated data information sources.
- Strong financial and business acumen.
Pay
Base Pay Range: $104,141.00–$173,568.00. Final base pay will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: role responsibilities, experience, skills, education, geographic location, and/or internal pay equity.
