Custodial Worker (Part-time) - Avir at Pharr - EVS Labor

About the role

As a Custodial Services worker on our team, you’ll take on the important job of keeping our operations and locations clean, ensuring our customers stay happy and healthy. This role is the starting point of your career at Aramark, where you can pursue what matters to you.

Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment, including OSHA, state/local, federal, and Aramark regulations.
• Maintain a clean and orderly environment to project the safety and health of others.
• Accurately maintain and clean housekeeping equipment.
• Clean assigned areas to Aramark and client standards and requirements.
• Follow procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transport it to designated areas.
• Report maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Secure the facility, ensuring the building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensure security of company assets.

Job duties may change or new ones may be assigned without formal notice to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks and exposure to hazardous chemicals.
• Maintain a friendly, efficient, and positive guest service demeanor toward guests, clients, and co-workers.
• Adaptable to guests’ needs.

Physical Demands

• Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
