Essential Job Functions
- Ensures customer satisfaction through prompt, efficient, and friendly service.
- Collections and properly dispose of all trash from both facility and the grounds.
- Performs janitorial duties, including sanitizing, mopping, vacuuming, waxing, buffing, and dusting.
- Uses chemical cleaners and supplies as directed and safely and healthfully to self, other employees, and customers.
- Affords assistance with major cleaning duties - carpets, filters, cleaning of machinery, furniture, and painting.
- Maintains gaming area at all times, including ashtrays, dusting of machines, carpet sweeping, etc.
- Provides physical setup for special events or activities including lifting and maneuvering bulky and heavy items.
- Routinely cleans authorized employee access areas.
- Stocks and supplies in various custodial areas.
- Greets and acknowledges customers encountered, pleasantly, providing informational assistance as needed.
- Promotes a clean, safe, and healthy work environment for employees and guests.
- Promptly reports all concerns to Supervisor.
- Adheres to established federal, state, and tribal health and safety codes/standards.
- Promptly responds to accident/injury scene providing first aid and securing medical assistance as needed.
- Complies with regulatory laws, PP&P, department policy and procedures, safety codes, etc.
- Ensures that the operation of equipment, tools, and materials are handled safely.
- Promotes internal guest service standards through courteous and respectful behavior.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- Experience with various cleaning equipment and materials.
- Effective communication skills both verbal and written to read and follow directions on equipment, cleaning chemicals, and instruction.
- Walk, stand, bend, lift, and maneuver heavy items while working in a noisy environment and perform repetitive actions with arms, wrists, and hands.
- CPR/first aid certification within three months of the date of hire.
- Exhibits a professional demeanor through appearance and by maintaining a positive attitude toward all employees and guests.
- Requires a Low-Security Gaming License clearance.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
Preferred Qualifications
- One (1) year experience in maintenance, repair, and equipment operation.
- Previous experience or training in chemical and sanitation awareness.
- High School Diploma or GED.
