About the role
We are seeking experienced line cooks and prep cooks to join our culinary team at D.H. Lescombes Winery and Bistro in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Located in the heart of New Mexico's wine country, our vineyard and winery have been leading the industry since 1981, known for our hand-crafted wines and award-winning favorites.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with all other positions in the back-of-house operations to cook, receive, prep, and organize food.
- Maintain proper back-of-house operations to ensure the continuity of the guest experience.
- Operate grills, fryers, broilers, mixers, ovens, and other kitchen cooking equipment.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a professional kitchen setting.
- Proficiency in using kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, broilers, mixers, ovens, and other cooking equipment.
- Ability to follow recipes and prepare dishes accurately.
- Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and food preparation.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid Food Handlers Card.
Skills
- Knowledge of basic culinary techniques.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and colleagues.
