About the role
CT Technologist responsible for operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for medical diagnosis. Performs various imaging procedures, including general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate and high-quality images.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care across all age groups.
- Produce sagittal and coronal reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer, maintaining patient confidentiality and data integrity in compliance with HIPAA.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance, calibration, and manage supply inventory.
- Maintain accurate records, files, and billing information, completing other assigned duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) in Radiologic Technology and CT (Required).
- Advanced Certification in CT (Required in OR and HI; Preferred in CA).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (Required).
- Venipuncture certification (Preferred in CA and OR).
- Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology (Preferred).
- Adherence to safety protocols, vaccination policies, and participation in E-Verify.
- Maintaining patient safety, equipment functionality, and data confidentiality.
