About the Role
Operates computed tomography (CT) and other imaging equipment to produce diagnostic images. Performs procedures such as general radiography and fluoroscopy, ensuring accurate image transfer and patient care.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, and evaluate patient care from adolescence to geriatric.
- Create reformatted images for radiologist interpretation.
- Maintain equipment, manage supplies, and perform routine calibration.
- Ensure proper documentation, image integrity, and compliance with HIPAA.
- Use PACS and teleradiology systems for image transfer.
- Perform other related duties as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
- Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-RT or ARRT-CT).
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology and advanced CT certification.
- Required: BLS certification; venipuncture certification preferred in some locations.
- Strong attention to patient safety, confidentiality, and equipment maintenance.
