About the role
Operate computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images for medical diagnosis, perform general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures, and deliver patient care across various age groups.
Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for all age groups.
- Produce high-quality CT images, including sagittal and coronal reformats.
- Transfer images using PACS and teleradiology systems.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure patient data confidentiality per HIPAA.
- Perform routine equipment maintenance and manage supplies.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
Requirements
- ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and CT.
- BLS certification.
- Preferred: Associate's degree in Radiologic Technology.
- Preferred: Venipuncture certification (in some regions).
Skills
- Strong attention to detail.
- Technical proficiency with CT imaging protocols.
