Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $3450 per week.

About the Role

Experienced travel nurse specializing in critical care, responsible for floating to multiple units including Medical ICU, Neuro Critical Care, Surgical ICU (SICU), and Intermediate Care (IMC). The position involves managing complex cases such as sepsis, end-stage renal disease (ESRD), acute kidney injury (AKI), post-cardiac arrest, and respiratory failure. Patient ratios are typically 1:2 or 1:1 based on acuity.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care during night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:30 AM).
• Float across multiple critical care units as needed.
• Manage complex patient cases with adherence to facility protocols.
• Work a schedule with a maximum of 7 days off and coverage for specified holidays.

Requirements

• Active Massachusetts nursing license.
• 12 months of recent ICU experience, including at least 3 months in the last year.
• 10 months of Critical Care Float Pool experience within the past 3 years.
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale.
• Float experience (not counted toward unit-specific experience).
• COVID-19 vaccination required unless medically or religiously exempted.
• Must reside more than 90 miles from the facility.
• Previous charge/lead nurse reference within the last 12 months.
• Proof of identification and required certifications for onboarding.
