Critical Care Float Pool - Travel Registered Nurse - $2460 per week.

About the role

Experienced travel nurse specializing in critical care, responsible for providing high-quality patient care across multiple ICU units including neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, and ED/PACU. The role involves floating to various units, ensuring competent care for diverse critical patients, and adhering to safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver critical care in various ICU settings
• Float across multiple units as needed
• Maintain compliance with certifications and hospital protocols
• Provide patient assessments, administer treatments, and monitor vitals
• Collaborate with healthcare teams and document patient information accurately
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality standards
• Handle multiple patient assignments in ICU settings
• Provide high-level critical care and coordinate with team members
• Complete required documentation and certifications prior to start
• Manage patient care efficiently with minimal supervision

Requirements

• 24 months of critical care experience, including float pool and travel experience
• Experience with Epic electronic health records
• NY license required; prefer trauma Level 1 experience
• Certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Ability to float confidently across ICU units
