About the role
Seeking a dedicated Crisis Service Professional to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support in Adams & Juneau Counties.
Responsibilities
- Responding to crisis calls and mobile crises, conducting risk assessments, and determining appropriate interventions
- Providing brief crisis counseling and follow-up services in various settings such as homes, hospitals, and law enforcement agencies
- Responding to potential emergency and suicide calls, gathering information, and assessing client needs
- Connecting clients to community resources, maintaining relationships with stakeholders, and documenting interactions per regulations
- Identifying service gaps and recommending improvements; staying informed on laws and best practices
- Supporting organizational mission, with occasional duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
- At least one year of experience with mental health clients preferred
- Knowledge of community resources and ability to learn relevant laws
- Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
- Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to respond within one hour to the assigned counties
