About the role

We are seeking dedicated Crisis Service Professionals to provide on‑call crisis response, risk assessments, and mobile support for individuals experiencing mental health emergencies in Adams and Juneau Counties.

Responsibilities

  • Responding to crisis calls and providing mobile crisis response
  • Conducting risk assessments and determining appropriate interventions
  • Offering brief crisis counseling and follow-up services
  • Meeting clients in various settings such as homes, hospitals, or law enforcement locations
  • Responding to potential suicide or emergency situations
  • Gathering information, assessing client needs, and connecting them to community resources
  • Collaborating with county staff, law enforcement, courts, and community partners
  • Documenting interactions in compliance with regulations
  • Identifying service gaps and recommending improvements
  • Staying informed on laws, procedures, and best practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field
  • Preferred minimum of one year experience working with mental health clients
  • Knowledge of community resources and ability to learn relevant laws
  • Strong crisis assessment, decision-making, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and professionally under pressure
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
