About the role
The Crime Analyst II (CA II) serves as a subject matter expert on the entire arrest and disposition lifecycle, including maintaining the criminal history repository associated with manual and electronic data collection. The role ensures record maintenance processes, procedures, and practices are consistent, applying rules and requirements uniformly regardless of submission source (manual or electronic).
Responsibilities
- Analyze and provide findings and recommendations for manually and electronically updated records in the criminal history repository.
- Offer expert feedback for procedural, process, and practice changes to ensure successful documentation and implementation within the update program.
- Oversee the full training process for Program Technician staff, including reviewing training materials, assessing trainee work for accuracy and completeness, and collaborating with management to develop training strategies.
- Assist in developing and maintaining training documents, manuals, reference materials, training plans, and production unit averages.
- Perform quality assurance and data verification.
- Use computers and various applications to analyze information, communicate effectively, and improve work processes and products.
Pay
$5,189.00 - $6,701.00 per month. New state employees will be hired at the minimum salary of the classification.
Schedule
- Permanent, full-time position.
- Day shift, Monday - Friday.
- Hybrid telework arrangement (Sacramento County).
