Credit Analyst Team Lead - Minneapolis or Portland
About the Role
Manages a staff of professional Credit Analysts who are responsible for determining what information is necessary for performing a credit quality analysis and gathering, analyzing, and interpreting that information. May involve analyzing either an existing loan portfolio or a prospective loan to maximize credit quality and minimize risk and potential losses. Acts as a consultant in the area of credit quality analysis and develops and communicates a consistent way of evaluating credit quality within the organization. Manages the design, development, and implementation of computer systems used for managing credit information and analyzing credit data.
Responsibilities
- Oversee a team of Credit Analysts in gathering, analyzing, and interpreting credit information.
- Analyze existing or prospective loans to enhance credit quality and reduce risk.
- Consult on credit quality analysis and establish consistent evaluation methods.
- Manage the development and implementation of systems for credit data analysis.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Six to seven years of relevant experience.
Skills
- Basic knowledge of credit, accounting, credit policy, and financial statement analysis.
- Proficient analytical skills related to reviewing various forms of asset collateral documentation.
- Well-developed ability to analyze credit decisions, including consumer, commercial, real estate, and international finance.
- Strong management, organizational, and leadership skills.
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- One to two years of leadership experience.
Location Expectations
This role requires working from a U.S. Bank location three (3) or more days per week.

Pay
The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. Pay Range: $92,820.00 - $109,200.00.
