Program Manager, Credit Team

AB Private Credit Investors is the $24+ billion direct lending platform of AllianceBernstein. We provide flexible financing solutions primarily to private equity-backed companies, to private equity funds, and to the management companies of leading private equity sponsors. We also make equity co-investments alongside our sponsor relationships.

What You’ll Do

AB-PCI is seeking to hire a Credit Program Management leader to join the investment team, with a focus on managing and developing junior investment professionals (interns, analysts, and associates) and driving selected process and project initiatives in partnership with the credit team leadership.

• Support the structuring, coordination, and ongoing evolution of AB-PCI’s junior talent programs, including recruiting processes, training, performance management, and development frameworks.
• Support the investment team in enhancing consistency, training, and execution by the junior credit team.
• Manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, while maintaining accountability for both individual and team outcomes.

• A proactive, resourceful, and ownership-oriented mindset, with the ability to operate independently in an ambiguous environment.
• Experience leading teams, complex projects and building or improving scalable processes.
• Strong judgment and business awareness, with the ability to operate effectively within an investment-oriented environment.
• Excellent academic credentials.
• The ability to develop and manage high-performing junior investment professionals, including delivering structured feedback and coordinating input from multiple stakeholders.
• Experience interacting with and influencing senior stakeholders across a matrixed organization.
• Experience within private credit, asset management, investment banking, or consulting environments, ideally with exposure to investment teams and/or talent development, recruiting, or program management initiatives is preferred.
