About the role

Operates company vehicles to provide courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx service standards. Provides coverage for all assigned routes within the station’s service area. Performs related customer service functions.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED
• Six (6) months courier experience preferred
• Demonstrated area knowledge
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and maneuver packages of any weight above 50 lbs
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
• Adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
• At least 21 years of age
• Read and speak English sufficiently
• Meet and maintain qualifications as outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations
• Pass medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Have neat appearance
• Have a valid driver’s license in accordance with state requirements
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safely

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age
• Must have a valid driver’s license in accordance with state requirements for type of vehicle assigned
• Must have a good driving record as outlined in policy

Job Conditions

• Neat appearance required due to customer contact
• Maintain qualifications as outlined in federal motor carrier safety regulations
• Requires medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Non-covered safety-sensitive position

Additional Details

• Full-time Monday through Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Pay

Pay range: $24.53/HR - $37.23/HR
