Courier/Swing Drvr/DOT

Operates company vehicles and provides courteous and efficient delivery and pick-up of packages. Checks shipments for conformance to FedEx features of service and provides related customer service functions. Covers all assigned routes within the station's service area. Performs other duties as assigned.

• Cover all assigned routes within the station's service area

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED
• Six months courier experience preferred
• Ability to demonstrate knowledge of the service area
• Ability to lift 50 lbs; maneuver packages above 50 lbs with appropriate equipment or assistance
• Good human relations and verbal communication skills
• Thorough knowledge of the station's service area preferred
• Demonstrated adaptability, dependability, and excellent courier methods
• At least 21 years of age
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently to understand traffic signs and communicate with officials
• Neat appearance due to customer contact
• Must meet federal motor carrier safety regulations
• Must pass a medical exam in accordance with FMCSA or FAA regulations
• Must obtain and maintain a valid driver's license with a good driving record
• Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner

Preferred Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for the previous three-year period

Pay

Starting at $22.30/hr - Up to $33.84/hr

Schedule

Full-time, Monday-Saturday, 8:00 AM - 8:30 AM. Day off to be determined.
